Easy To Use
The Flexi-Tend is designed to be as operator friendly as possible, with a simple compound angle loading area with configurable pins for part placement. When the plate is fully loaded, the robot will take care of loading the machine as well as selecting and starting its program automatically. Finished components are placed back in the originally loaded positions for removal when the batch is complete.
Modular
The system is upgradeable with many standard options including a double gripper head, turnover station for more complex handling manoeuvres and a deburring station for product finishing. It can also be interfaced with various measurement devices and other equipment on request.
Multi-Use
While originally designed for use tending CNC machines, the Flexi-Tend has been utilised for a wide variety of machine tending roles including lathes, small presses and even several special purpose machines.
