Easy To Use
The Flexi-Tend Max has two large conveyors for loading parts. The operator uses a shaped guide plate to align the parts in grid formation and then the robot uses an end-of-arm mounted 2D camera to accurately locate the parts for pickup. After processing the parts are placed back on the conveyor for removal by the operator.
Modular
The system is upgradeable with many standard options including a double gripper head, turnover station for more complex handling manoeuvres and a deburring station for product finishing. It can also be interfaced with various measurement devices and other equipment on request.
Multi-Use
While originally designed for use tending CNC machines, the Flexi-Tend Max has been utilised for a wide variety of machine tending roles including lathes, small presses and even several special purpose machines.
